WTB Ecotech Versa

Just like the title says, looking to buy a versa or possibly any other continuous duty pump if the price is right.

Hey man I would suggest going against so. Ive had 4 versas already fail on me. They use regular plastic tubing and the rollers are too small. Had a good 4 months use before they all stopped pushing water.

This is one of those things that make you say "Hmmmm...". I believe they haven't been available from any on-line retailers since January. (The only explanations I've seen for them not being available are "Covid supply chain issues" and "Covid personnel issues". I don't buy into either excuse.)

I suspect they've had to re-engineer them and that they will becoming out with a "Version 2" any day now.

Did Ecotech cover their Versa pump failures satisfactorily for you? I'm willing to convert my dosers to their dosers, but I'd like to know my investment is covered before I buy in...

So I happen to really really love everything about this pump. Its just a super botched design issue witch I assume when things get back on track hopefully they'll resolve the problems some people are having.

I have yet to see anyone post this issue yet. Ive had the versas since I believe sometime in May. Got about 4 months out of them before the tubing just flattened out. I even tried cutting a few different size and material tubing to see if it worked out. Had no luck unfortunately. I would for sure for sure wait untill they come out with a fix before looking to buy one.

Good point. Thanks for the heads up. I wondered why I hadn’t seen any for sale. At the same time hadn’t read about any issues. I guess I’ll buy another Kamoer. Was looking for a smaller option but oh well.

If they didn't keep us in the dark about what's going on id be fine with waiting, I just have no idea what's going to happen so yea. May I ask what your using the dosing for?
