WTB Koralia pumps, Reef Keeper

Keep an eye on eBay for used DA stuff at decent prices. The ReefKeeper Lite is $119 direct from DA. Koralia pumps inductively feed back into the RK and crash it. This is a known issue with ReefKeepers. If you still want to use Koralia pumps, you can't use the wavemaker mode as pulsing the pumps really freaks out the RK so they will have to be left on. If you're looking for wavemakers at a good price, check out Jebao. They have stand-alone controllers and they don't crash my RK since the pumps are DC.

Good luck.

I don't need a wave maker function...just want the reefkeeper for temp control mostly

it's just a FOWLR tank

I run the RKE as well the RKL and love them both. I bought the RKL from a local reefer and got totally ripped off... Paid $99.00 - Missing: SIDV2, program coupler, and temp probe. Til it was all completed I paid nearly $150 for a used RKL... Lack of experience with control systems kicked my butt. I bought the RKE several months later on ebay and got a fantastic deal. The RK systems are so much more than just a temp monitor and you will understand that once you have one. Just to throw it out there, my RKE runs a reef tank and a FOWLR with no problems. Good luck with whichever direction you choose and if you need any help let me know. I've been running these systems quite a while and have worked around most of the system's quirks... Just be careful what you buy if you're buying a used controller.

I have 3 tanks and one has an apex and the other a RKL...I am just looking for a deal on a used one

I have a Pair of Koralia 750s if interested. About a year of use on them
