Which did you end up buying? eel river told me they were in the process of improving the reefled shade.

I got the eel river. It’s pretty good I’m guessing they are addressing that it dims the light when it’s on. But I’m not close to running my light at 100% so not a real issue. The fit is great I think it’s my first shade on a light so can’t compare the fit. But overall happy. Our tank is in a loft so it does it’s job and keeping the light from blinding us downstairs
