Are they no longer sold or are you just looking for a cheaper used one? I hate mine, the alarm is always going off. The pump alarm also goes off even though the reservoir is full. The inside magnet also rusted and fell apart.

I see ice cap has a very similar model and it appears icecap is also owned by coral vue?

Not sure my ch difference than the micro. I remember asking BRS once. You should be able to find the answer on the questions tab for them.

I'm just looking for a used/cheaper one. I think the micro is just for a smaller tank.

The alarms are based on time it takes to fill, and time since last fill. If it takes more than 3 time as long to fill as the prior time, or has been more than 2 times as long as it took between fillings the prior time, it alerts. Once you reset it, I'm not sure if it is back to square one or what. Unfortunate since you have to turn it off during water changes, etc. and then you can't plug it in when it is under water, or it freaks out...
 
Anyone else have one? I've had a few people PM me but then never responded back.
