I'm looking at getting an underwater camera to take pictures in the tank. I'd also bring it along when going snorkeling. I just used the Canon d10 at one of the fish stores and liked it a lot.

Which one's are all you guys using? I'm ready to buy as soon as I do a little more research!

I USE THE OLYMPUS X-560WP GOT IT FOR LIKE $180 TAKES GREAT PHOTOS FOR A POINT AND SHOOT HERE IS A SAMPLE

I have the sealife reefmaster mini. I use mine mainly for diving though, never really tried it in the tank. That Olympus looks like it takes great pictures above and below the water!!!

Ill second the pentax optio w60... I have the Wpi (like 5 generations previous) and it is a frickin champ... I drag it through alot of caving and it has served admirably, also takes great pictures

Tagging along . BTW is the Fujifilm FinePix Z33WP worth looking at ? It can be had for 140.00 ish . 10 mp . I thought of picking one up to play with . Yeah I know the downside is u better not drop it or it's toast .

I have never used that model, but I use to shoot with the Fujifilm S5100 series and I was never very impressed with it's macro capabilities.

I'm kinda liking the pentax w80 due to the size vs. the canon d10. the canon d10 just seems a little too big to stuff in a pocket. anyone use the pentax that could post some pics with it?

after those pics...I think thats the camera I'm getting. LOL marvin those are amazing! Do you just shoot in normal mode, or do you play with the settings to get those colors?

just get as close as possible, which is pretty inches away and just shoot away... I normally use the Underwater mode... there's 3 modes so choose what works best for you... btw, if you plan on going on a trip and going diving pretty deep, get the Tough 8000 or whatever it's called now... ours is the 2nd best... ;)

Do you think you'll eventually want to use it diving? Cause that changes the scenario quite a bit...you will not get good pictures snorkeling (unless you are an expert freediver) regardless of your setup...they will be more, "I was there" and preserve the memory type shots than anything.

Just ordered the 6000. got it in camo. My uncle has a digi camera with houseing for when we go diving so I'm good on that. I plan to use this camera for mostly fish tank stuff. I might do a little snorkeling with it, but when snorkeling i'm not so much of a swim down kinda person. lol
