Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a wartskin angler. Preferably white/red variety but I'll take yellow/red also. Let me know. I'm in San Jose, CA. Thanks!

marcus, what city are you in? (your profile doesn’t say).

i just happened to see a white/red one last week at bob’s tropical fish in east LA. about a 3”-4” size specimen.

are you looking for only LFS livestock? liveaquaria’s diver’s den carries them semi-regularly. i’m sure other online stores will to.

happy hunting!!

Just edited my post to include location. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm in San Jose, CA. LFS or online doesn't matter. I wonder if Bob's Tropical Fish will ship. lol

I often see anglers at the local Bay Area shops - occasionally Neptune but for whatever reason the shop closest to me - Ultimate Aquarium in Redwood City (or thereabouts) often has them. I’ve seen yellow and the red white.

I've been to Neptune Aquatics many times and saw a yellow wartskin angler about 3-4 weeks ago but I wasn't interested in them at the time. lol I haven't been to Ultimate Aquarium. I'll have to check them out sometime.

Anyway, I just got a super yellow wartskin angler shipped in yesterday from Saltwaterfish.com. It was in their WYSIWYG section. It's about the length of an index finger. Love this guy. Already eating saltwater ghost shrimps. I'm still interested in finding a white/red variant.

Hi there! How is your Angler doing? Has he eaten any of your fish? I want one but I'm worried he will eat an expensive fish.
