You heard me! I want to get rid of zoas in my dislpay! Looking for Zoa eating nudibranch :D

Filefish would be ok as long as you don't have any other corals. I got one for aiptasias but took him out after caught him taking a bite out of my brain coral

I have big colonies for favia, chalice and acans in addition to sps. Thought filefish eat lps

In addition to the risk of eating your LPS (acans and favia are at the highest risk), there is no guarantee that it would even eat zoas at all. Zoanthids and Palythoas have a toxin within them (palytoxin) that is very dangerous to most animals besides their dedicated predators. Therefore, a filefish may get a taste for them, but either be turned away by or killed by the toxin if it eats too many.
The best of luck in your search! Sometimes I do wish things like these were aquacultured for aquarium use.

Would aptasia eliminating methods work? Or the majano wand from Paul? I honestly have no idea if either of those will work, just wondering.

Cover with reef epoxy. It worked for me, just be prepared your skimmer will overflow for a few hours as the epoxy cures underwater.

"Instant Ocean HoldFast Epoxy Stick" is $5.32 on Amazon and 1 day shipping. Can't beat that.

What kind of zoas (pics?)

Any pic of the unwanted?

Im in WI= Give me a price. Then you dont have to go through trouble of how to kill them . I have 3 tanks
That’s in my frag tank. So no issues there:) problem is I got some of in the display and impossible to take out the rock.

Yeah I have the same problem. Those are either Mohawks or Pandoras. Got them cheap when I restarted my tank as trial corals and have been pulling bunches of them out since. Let me know what works for you

sorry not a zoa expert. I got this one tow. But it doesn’t grow as fast.
Give me a good price and I’ll buy the whole piece

That's a great idea! (you could probably also just use reef safe super glue (BSI makes a good cheap one)
