Going through my garage today, I ran across a brand new Ranco Digital Temp Controller ETC-11100 (brand new in the box, with no power cord).

etc_nema1.jpg

I bought this for home-brewing last year for a project I never undertook. I would like to trade it for some interesting zoas and/or palys. As this is worth something like $50, I would we willing to accept offers of similar value.

No shipping, local exchange only. Let me know if you are interested.

But wait! There's more!

Ok, I continued cleaning my workbench and found the power cord that I bought to use with it, so it just needs to be wired IAW the manufacturers guidance.

This is a deal too good to pass up! If you act now you get all this: ONE Ranco Digital Temperature Controller! ONE 9ft Power Cord! ONE big pile of FUN wiring it together! And ONE great feeling knowing you helped me clean my workbench and brighten up my zoa garden! Don't delay! This deal won't last long! (I hope )

This offer only available in north Alabama. This product has not been tested by the FDA and makes no claims to cure or relieve any disease. Possible side affects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, internal bleeding, ulcers, coughing, hiccups, death, hair loss, hearing loss, leprosy, lessened math skills, sneezing, hyperactivity, bloating, reduced joie de vivre, lawn gnomes, low salinity, poor eyesight, reduced gas mileage, and gout. Women who are pregnant, or about to be pregnant, should not purchase this item but have no doubt likely stopped reading this stupid disclaimer long before now.

I just ordered a bunch of zoas and could really use a temp controller. I'll post pictures of the zoas once they get in and open up next week if you still have the controller. Hopefully some will catch your eye (and I'll be able to part with them) :)

how many read this in the fast talking disclaimer voice?:rapture:

That was the voice inside my head when I typed it!

You have voices in your head too? Wow! I thought I was going crazy. Do they ever tell you to stab Johnny?

Do they ever tell you to stab Johnny?

Not since I last met with Nurse Ratched.

McMurphy: Nurse Ratched, Nurse Ratched! The Chief voted! Now will you please turn on the television set?
Nurse Ratched: [she opens the glass window] Mr. McMurphy, the meeting was adjourned and the vote was closed.
McMurphy: But the vote was 10 to 8. The Chief, he's got his hand up! Look!
Nurse Ratched: No, Mr. McMurphy. When the meeting was adjourned, the vote was 9 to 9.

I do have fire and ice zoas (look awesome under cool blue LEDs), watermelon mushroom, xenia, orange monti-cap, and war coral frags now. My palythoa grandis just spawned a baby too but I'm not sure if my girlfriend would be ok parting with that. Interested in any of those?

Well, I have all the xenia, shrooms, and montis, that I need. I am particularly interested in something like tubbs blue, la lakers, eagle eyes, blue/purple hornets, or similar. P. Grandis cinnamon or green would be nice also. The fire and ice, if they are what I think they are, are a little too similar to the Armor of God I that I have already.

Sounds interesting. Got any pics?

Do you still have the controller? My zoa shipment came in late last week and there are some promising colors. Unfortunately shipping took a toll on them and it is going to take some time for most of the zoas to recover. The red people eaters that came in are in good shape if you want some of them though.

Here is the mother colony that the fire and ice I have came from. http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-131389054632201_2217_22398067. If you are interested I can upload some pictures of my colony tomorrow. I also have a green/blue/orange zoa colony and a green/purple zoa colony I can post pictures of if those are colors you might want.

Do you have all the war coral you need too? The palythoa grandis is green and has two babies growing now but they are still small and the gf wants to keep them. If you want one though I'll keep you in mind for the next one that pops up. The only other corals I have ready to trade now are moon brain, meteor shower cyphastrea, acans, phyllangia Americana with neon green streaks, and toadstool leather. Interested in anything?

Yes I still have it. I can't see the fire and ice pic as the link seems to be broken. The other two zoas sound interesting. Send me some pics. As for corals, I am sorta busting at the seams now, so I am good.

Sorry about the broken link. The iPad was fighting me on that one.

I have pictures of the zoas now but I have to apologize for the bad image quality. I had to take the pictures with my iPhone and it seems to hate that my tank is a little heavy on blue light. Hopefully these pictures will at least give you an idea of what they look like in person though.

Fire and Ice (fast grower)

Same colony with less blue light... unfortunately the picture ended up a little washed out.

Zoas with green skirt, purple face, and green mouth

Another frag from the same mother colony with less blue light

Similar zoa but with an orange mouth

Another zoa colony with a green/purple skirt, orange face, and purple mouth (also a fast grower). The colors on this guy are great but they did not show up very well in the picture, especially the vibrant orange.

The next two frags are from the shipment I got last week. They are still coloring up but are looking healthy and ready to trade. This first one is developing a nice green on the faces

And last but not least Red People Eater

That is all of the zoas I have that are ready to trade now. Did anything pique your interest?

Also, here is the p. grandis with one of its two babies. It is definitely one of my favorite corals and I'm going to hold onto these three polyps for now. Do you want me to let you know when the next one starts growing and give you first shot at it though?
