I havent checked my pH since... I cant remeber. I think I did once this year. I think.

I have 3 tanks running on one sump.

One has low flow and bright lighting. It's full of algae.

One has bright lights and high flow. It has a little algae in spots at the top of the tank.

One has low flow and low light, just enough for softies. It has no algae.

Water parameters can't fix everything.

I received the ICP test results. I will keep on doing what I have been doing. It was almost perfect. I think I will slightly increase the trace elements dosing amounts.

Project Make Guppies has been a success. Lots of babies swimming around now.

I have 350 feeder shrimp coming today. 100 freshwater and 250 saltwater.

I dont have a burning desire to put anything else in the tanks. The fish are growing and I think I am close to full anyway.

I installed an Enaly 1KNT-24 ozone generator yesterday evening. I was using an Enaly OZX-300 but the air pump in it failed. I made a pump with an inlet/outlet that could be attached inline with the desiccator from a Whisper-40 I got at Petco. I measured it and it moves 1.6L/min. I then replumbed around the airpump inside the OZXC-300 through the cell and limped along with it until I could get the new generator here. Since I made a pump this one doesnt rely on venturi vacuum or an internal air pump to work.

S0 far I have used a Poseidon 200, Ultrazone 300, OZX-300 and the 1KNT. They produce 200, 300, 500 and 800 mg/hr of ozone.
Only the last 2 raised my ORP consistently above 300. The 1KNT can easily drive it to 500. I have limited it to 360 which I am measuring just above the return pumps so I know what is going in the tank.
I found a BRS video about ozone which validated what I deduced. The Milwaukee is doing its thing keeping there.

When the generator is busted I can tell stuff isn't as happy as it usually is.

Jabby, Stabby and Pokey got treats today. When they come to the top I give them veggie wafers.

My frogspawn is at about 15 heads now. I can count them at night.
The angels are starting to show some beautiful colors

The pups are napping now. They are active in the morning.

Smooth sailing on the Appalachian Sea which is exactly how I like it.

Slowly taming the giant light

I put slats in the canopy so the light cant reflect so much out the front and back above the tank.

I am still getting light spill but I have decreased it about 80%. The problem is I have decided to run it much higher than originally planned. I can live with this though. I might try moving them a bit too.

I was watching one of my urchins. They have a creepy looking big eyeball on top

and gravel started coming out of it. Quite a bit.

I dont guess that's an eyeball.

You probably cant see it but my eel lays in his tube flat on his back. He does this all the time.
The first time though you are all like "Oh crap what did I do wrong".

Not so much I think. I just moved the tuxedo to the big tank as well. There is no algae in the 75 at all. He seems to eat it more than they do. The longspines are usually on the glass.

So I am putting the food in the tank and the fish are all swarming around. The starry blenny starts chomping on my clown tang and spitting out mouthfuls of scales. He got him twice on each side.

Mean little critter.
Food cured the eel. He is right side up again.

They are shy and will only come out if you stand away from the tank. I had hoped that would go away. They will take food from tongs or a stick but they go back into hiding to eat it. I put some in the tank, stand away and then they come out to get it.

I removed two starry blennies from two different tanks for killing fish, just saying.
