Got this little guy a couple weeks ago, I bought 5 WWC corals off their Ebay page and everything is growing nicely and looking really nice but this one just looks weird. I don’t have the exact number for parameters at the moment so I’m not sure what’s going on....

I’ve tried a bunch of different locations on the tank and it’s not changing... right now it’s high up with high flow and high light.

Not sure what I can do, the coral took a turn for the worse from one day to another. I don’t see a skeleton just yet but it just looks blandddddd

When in doubt put it in lower light... Then give specifics of your water parameters please so a more educated guess can be made...

I have a grafted cherry tree and keep it shaded on bottom of the tank. It bleaches any higher.

Maybe that's what happened, should I move it to the sandbed or just place it with some shade??

I would move it to the sand for now. Encrusting montis do better in low light anyway.

Alright ill do that, guess my bounce mushroom is going to have a neighbor.

Edit: Do all encrusting montis do better in low light? I also have a WWC rainbow monti

Lol I keep mine right next to a bunch of bounces and jbs too

I typically keep them all lower around 150 par for best colors

I blast my tank with light so I have to shade them but typically I would just put them at the bottom.

From your top pic it looks to be to much light but also keep your alk stable as they are sensitive to swings. In the 75 we had it growing on the bottom under the halides.
