Hah, I put a bid in on three pieces (including Tooty Fruity Acro) and was outbid late in the day yesterday on two of them with the exception of a $6 big on of the frags. The other two pieces I had bid on were slowly creeping to the price point where I would not pursue them but I was torn over being stuck with a $6 frag and $40 shipping fee! So I prepared myself to throw down on one of the other two pieces if I wasn't outbid on the $6 frag. I was sitting there checking the ebay app last night saying "come on, someone outbid me!". Someone eventually saved me from myself and outbid me on the $6 frag and I just walked away.

I suggested that maybe they allow you to purchase a shipping day for the month. That way you could try multiple auctions instead of having this situation. I think they are planning to move the auctions to their own website, instead of ebay. Maybe there will be an option to save a little on shipping costs, or to hold corals at least for a couple weeks. Would be nice!

The good news is a lot of the ebay auctions, the frags go for low prices so it makes it worth it many times anyways. Especially if combined with a live sale or a website order.

I wanted a Pink Floyd Chalice
A dandy for sure. With these auctions ask yourself what your willing to pay and bid that number and if you get it for less all the better.
I grabbed a frag pack to make up the difference and it was sweet!

The other issue was I didn’t know the values of some of them because they were not on the website and I tried googling it as. Couldn’t find anything on the tooty fruity

For future reference, July of 2017...

Maybe $50 or a little more depending on what the frag looked like. Usually they don't put up giant frags on ebay. I think WWC has over 1,000 named acros so it's a little hard to keep track of. Most they have sold in a previous live sale, so that's where I will look for pricing.

Yes those are good deals! About half of what they normally cost. The dayglo is really a nice piece and is pretty popular even after being around some time. Could look at it like you got free shipping and paid normal price basically. Now you have a little more experience for future wwc ebay auctions as well!

heres a tip and what i do if i dont get as many frags as i would like (especially rather than just bidding on something so so to reduce the impact of shipping) only bid on the ones you want and dont bid too high, and then dont pay until after the auctions next week are over. they will ship both weeks orders together ,you just have to tell them to combine it with last weeks auctions when you check out. if for some reason they try to charge you double shipping, you just message them and they will fix it.

happy hunting.

Or you could get the cheap frags off eBay and then add some from the online store to make it worthwhile OR if you really want to save the shipping purchase $199 from store and it’s free.

I would like the once a month or every two weeks would be awesome but I can see a tracking night mare from their end
