WWC Nuclear Grapes

WWC probably had the only colony. They probably got it in, made sure it was healthy, named it and chopped it up. It could be years before anybody has a colony. It could be quite possible that it is lost in time with the hundreds of other "named and chopped" WWC stuff. Only time will tell if this piece is valuable to collectors, or not.
...sorry if this seems harsh, but there is a thread or two a week about a chopped and named coral that people want to see colony shots of when none exist. Nearly never does a colony shot pop up, but I hope that you do get one.

There’s not much to show with mine, it’s still only about a 1/2” frag since this thread was made it has encrusted the plug but no vertical growth yet.
I’m a little interested in monitoring the color on this guy bc the frag does NOT look like a nuclear grapes. It’s all green with a little purple at the top, and the encrusting base is all green as well. This WAS bought straight from WWC so I would hope there wasn’t some mistake. So we’ll see, the coloration is still the same as it was in the pic for the Ebay auction

I don’t think they’d steer you wrong. Could they have shipped an incorrect frag, maybe but I’m sure they have processes and procedures to avoid that as much as possible. Let’s see a pic of what you got.

ive never taken a measurement before but ive got kessils with t5s shining on it. its in the upper 1/3 of the tank and ive grown oregon tort and a pearlberry right in the same spot before i broke down the colonies to sell so i could buy an apex. all had great growth and coloration
it also looked like this as well when i got it from wwc. im gonna try and pull the ebay auction pic
If I were you I would rent a par meter from brs and check the par on all of your corals.. the nuclear grapes should be getting about 250 I contacted wwc about it earlier today and asked since I bided on a frag of nuclear grapes on ebay
