WXM Firmware upgrade goof

I think I smoked it. Fusion was complaining of an old firmware update on the wxm so I updated it. It then told me the outlets were missing. I googled it and followed instructions to delete the outlets and module. I restarted the apex classic and it picked up the new wxm. I followed instructions on how to reconnect the vortechs and they will not connect. Upon reading the instructions for reconnecting the vortechs there at the bottom it says do not update firmware of wxm produced after 2010. Great place for the warning huh? Maybe Fusion should not spam to upgrade the firmware if it indeed bricks the module.

Please advise.

Nevermind. After a few hours of fudging with it, I got it up and running. I forgot to write down my code for the pair of pumps though. Arg...
