I am trying to seek some advice on my Xenia Cespitularia. I have attached a photo and if you look at him he has wrapped himself around the main base. I was wondering if I should cut him there because he is growing on both sides. He is growing like a weed! Thanks for all of your help!

Ok so I have another question about my Cespitularia. I didn't cut him I left him alone. Should i attache the left side of him to a rock? He is right now just on my sand bed.

I like to leave mine separated from everything so I don't run into an overgrowth mess. Once they start growing, they can rival Xenia (nearing pest levels in many cases). It'll keep running the 'rhizome' until it finds something to grab on to. It'll use sand if it has to.
