Hello fellow Reefers!

I am now again currently looking for a nice piece of Xenia. Preferably I would like someone in the New Jersey/New York area. I also heard that it is good at soaking up a lot of those phosphates and nutrients which is a good perk. Anyways, please let me know if you have any Xenia by either posting here on this thread or PMing me here on Reef2Reef.

Thanks!

Justin

Found him. Thanks! Have you ever bought from him before? And are they good prices?
Yeah I started my reef with a bunch of his frags. I did get some frags with aptaisia anenomes in there so look out for that, I was such a newbie I didnt know to dip, qt, or treat anything at the time. but the prices were great and I have 2 monster aptaisia murdering peppermint shrimp you can have for free if you can figure out how to get them out of my tank!

That sounds great. I would love the peppermint shrimps! Where are you located in New Jersey?

Im in ringwood. I will warn you they are literally the devil, and near impossible to catch. If you plan on keeping anenomes or any corals you feed regularly you dont want them as they will harrass coral to get it to spit up food even after feeding them insane amounts of food for themselves. They did do an amazing job on the aptasia though. They would be perfect in an aptasia erradicating qt station or something like that.

I have tried netting them, I have tried bottle trapping them but they are clever and wont fall for it.

The way I was thinking of doing it was to get wide tubing with a ball valve on the end, put some bait in front of it and start the syphon when they come near to suck them out. If that doesnt work I was thinking about putting super glue on food so they get thier mouths glued shut and killing them that way. I know it sounds harsh but they are brutal coral murderers and I hate them. Caught one murdering my rock flower anenome last night right after I fed them a half cube of mysis, its like they do it for fun. I need help doing it and my wife is not interested so if you're down to come help trap them they are all yours (at your own risk)
