I started a thread called Corals for beginners, what not to buy, the link is here

https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/mi...lub/126869-corals-beginners-what-not-buy.html

This is just peoples experience, and sometimes regrets.

Go and have a look through this website, Buy Live Coral, Saltwater Fish, Aquarium Supplies | Vivid Aquariums | Tropical Fish Store Los Angeles you will find some very useful information from these people. As a new saltwater owner I have found this site informative, especially the video section, Buy Live Coral, Saltwater Fish, Aquarium Supplies | Vivid Aquariums | Tropical Fish Store Los Angeles Maybe not exactly the answer you are looking for, but I think the information to make an informed decision. I have also noticed that sometimes when a coral has a care level of intermediate, it is not the water quality, but sometimes getting the right flow, or light which makes it a higher care level.

I have an idea, find something you like, and do not get put off by the care level, or what ever prevents you from selecting that coral, but do the research, and use it as a learning experience. Just remember that you might get bucked off in this rodeo but the idea is to get back on. Best of luck.
