Xenia fragging and control

I have a ton of Xenia in my little cube. Don't want to get rid of it(LFS loves giving me credit for it), but need to keep it under control.

Last time I "pruned", I thought it would be a good idea to scrape off some of the small pieces that were in less than ideal locations. That was a mistake! It's worse than knapweed!

For those of you that keep it, and keep it under control, what is your preferred method of fragging and pruning?

Pulling with tweezers and siphoning it out immediately has worked for me. I've linked a helpful video below.
Do what the person does in the video, and then siphon the water around where you pulled the xenia out. LMK if this is unclear and I can clarify

To control them, I used forceps to remove them easily. Grab them at the base and pull sideways. I run carbon to be safe but I believe the forceps method should help keep toxins out of the water. They should spread up towards light. Place removable rocks above them and they will spread onto them.

i once thought i wanted to try it despite all the stories, so i bought a frag.

in no time it grew taller, and kind of flopped over to 1 side.

within 2 days it was ATTACHED to the rock it flopped onto and started growing.

i immediately ripped it out and sold it.

think i dodged a bullet there.

Glue it to your back glass, let it grow, if you need to frag some off its easy to scrap some off.
