I have a mass of xenia taking over one side of my tank and it's recently completely overtaken a toadstool. For weeks I had been wondering why the leather had been acting weird, figured it was due to the xenia but wasn't sure, only a portion of the leather was opening up during the day and it was looking lopsided. I'm guessing this is why.
I was checking it out earlier today and it's a hard to get to spot but there is at least one xenia growing on top of the leather. I'm sure this has been seen before but figured I'd share with my r2r friends, thought it was pretty interesting. Not looking good for the toadstool unfortunately.
