Three months ago I bought a single pulsing xenia head. Now it has taken over my tank.

Anyone want any ?

Holy crap! filefish like to eat that stuff

It is spreading a few inches a day. I can't get over how fast it went from one outcropping to everywhere within weeks. It just exploded in growth

If you can get the rocks out peel them off at the base. If you can't get the rock out, cut the Xenia as close to the rock as possible then scrub the area with a stiff brush; I use a steel bristle one. Run some carbon after scrubbing. Good luck !

I was able to pull off of most rocks with a pair of big tweezers grab at the base and rip off Good luck. Talk to local fish stores maybe trade for credit

I once have pulsing xenia in a tank with household white light - it wont die, alive for at least 2 months before I put them down into the sump with a par36. oh man the things still growing

They love nitrates. I can't keep it in my tank because I have no nitrates. To make it recede look at upping your nutrient export.

Mine did that too, then it died. [emoji30]
Unreal I found mine dead this morning!! It looked beautiful last night and this morning it had wilted and was white, I'm bummed. :(
