Xenia Turning white at the tips

I think the coral pictured below is a Xenia. I included a high magnification showing white at the tips and a lower magnification showing it in the tank behind the bubble tip anenome. It is wide. Has anyone notied thiers turning white at the tips. Could the anenome be stinging it?

My first guess would be it's getting stung by that huge anemone as it only appears to be on that side from your pictures :)
