I have Xenia on a island rock and that rock is getting pretty crowded. My question is when that rock is full is Xenia like a Dandy Lion where if it will detach and float around the tank and attach to my main rocks. Does that Make Sense

The Xenia will then start to blow all over your tank.

Agree^^ can you remove the rock it is on? you can "trim" them to give more space to grow again.

Mine is doing this. It grows out onto the sand and then detaches along the edge of the rock and blows away. They are large chunks though and easily removed before they grow anywhere else.

I recommend keeping it in check as your rank will look like my sump and office tank

It’s actually a pretty efficient nitrate filter, almost too good as I have to dose nitrates in my main tank
