XF150

[reefertank]

So a buddy gave me a Maxspect XF150, that wasn't working. After taking it a part, and replacing a few things it works fine. So now can anyone tell me the best placement and mode? My tank is a 90 gallon mix reef tank. Pics attached. You can see where I put it for now next to the overflow.

Mine is placed exactly where your is in my 55 Gal with a center overflow. It seems to work well. I tried other placements but none seemed to get good circultion. However, it seems the X150 pump is the only one you have in the tank, besides the return lines(?). If so, then it is not enough for a tank your size.
