Regarding this issue, we are sorry that Gyre 300 series is not compatible with Gyre 200 series, as we are using new sine wave technology in the controllers, and the new water flow directors, which needs to have a new pump, which has different hardware and is not compatible with the old ones

Ok, fair enough but then why stop selling the 200 series? You could sell both series you know.. then I could get the second pump for opposite side of my tank that I was saving up for? Instead I have to buy a whole new system. No I don't think so.
