xf250 gyre placement on 6ft 125g

So I finally got the controller I've been seeking for the 2 xf250 gyres I've had laying around for a couple months.

Tank is a 6ft long 125g.

Placement question..

Put each gyre on the rear glass, on opposite sides facing the front, with a nano in each corner facing down the back wall behind rock work ..

Or place them on each side glass facing each other/at the center of the tank.

I'm worried the flow may not reach each other if I face them at one another. And think if I place each facing forward from the back with the nanos blowing down the back of my rock work towards the center it should be adequate.

Opinions?

One on each end.

Plug 1 in first and play with it. Start about 4” from the top. Work your way down a bit if it sucks air, but it shouldn’t.

You will push water 6’ easily with the 250’s.

Once you see what % does what across the top and back on the bottom, then add the 2nd.

Ok. Think they should be placed at the same height.. or like 1 up high and 1 down low?

No. Buts that’s just my opinion!

If you want, start them out even, then over time, play with location.

Mike do u have these? This controller is programmed already and the flow is set to 80%.. way too high. I wanna just reset it and start over and I'm getting frustrated. Looked around YouTube a bit but not having success besides the reviews etc and setup for 1st time programming.

The idea was to get oversized gyres and run then at low % to extend the life of them etc..

Anyone wanna walk me thru it? lol
