I have MH over my 75g. Wanna add an LED strip to boost the blue color as needed... to show the bio fluorescence.. . With MH off.

Is reef brite xho the best (brightest blue actinic) ? Which model is best?

The new lumi lite pro....48" is it as bright a blue as xho?

Thx

I use 2 reefbrite tech leds with my 400 watt halide .
It makes subtle difference !
I have no idea about the new lumilite so #reefsquad !
If it were me , I would try 2 xhos depending on how many and what wattage of halide you are running

Just to show fluorescence with the MH turned off, most any 3 watt led strip will do a decent job. If you really want fluorescent pop, you'll probably want a couple of strips.

I have a 40g cube with all high fluorescing zoas and RFAs plus a few lps & sps. I have a 178 watt led fixture of which 76 watts are blue. And I added a second fixture of just white and blue so I could run just the blue for an additional 120 watts of blue. But then the tank looks like a neon sign at night!

Running 2 se 250w radium over my 75g.
I think 1 xho in front tilted toward inside is good?

I’ve never compared them directly to the reef bright xho so I don’t know how they differ in color or intensity. But as a standalone light they give a good fluorescent pop. They are very blue.
