XL Pellet Food?

Why is frozen cubes not a good way to feed him? Especially as "part" of his diet. Especially when I also feed him shrimp, squid, silversides, salmon, scallops, etc.

If I am out of town and can't feed normally, why would dry food be bad?

I'm not trying to have the fish live off an auto feeder but I want him to be able to eat "all" non live foods. Including dry pellet based food.

I don't feed my lionfish live food. Feeder fish are not the best food for lionfish in an aquarium. Freshwater feeder fish are especially bad for a lionfish or any other marine fish.

Oh... just so you know, I've had my lion for 3 years.
I'm not a new lionfish owner who's trying to figure out how to care for him.
I'm trying to enhance and expand his diet and menu.

Have you looked at Northfin fish food? They offer sinking pellets in 4mm, 6mm and 10mm sizes and IMO better ingredients then Hikari.

I just compared their marine food to their jumbo fish food and....
Looks like I might have a winner with the Jumbo Northfin fish food.

I've had good luck with it, seems to sink better than NLS pellets as well.
