I had a Brown diatom algae bloom about 30 days after adding new rock to my fairly new tank. I added a can of xport po4 cubes to a media bag in my sump. Seemed to clear it up almost completely in a few days. About 2 weeks in, now I have a bit of algae growing again. I have cut back on feeding my fish, but have 11 corals in the tanks that I target feed. Reef chili and mysis alternating nights when their tentacles are out. My corals are growing fast... but it also seems to be feeding the algae as well. Should I switch to gfo or will the cubes work again in time? Thoughts please.

If lighting is sufficient you should not need to feed every night.
Can you bulk up your clean up crew?
If the cubes worked before I would consider using them again just use a smaller amount.
