xr 15 or xr30 blue?

hey guys .. planning to get the g5s for my 4x2 ft 125 gallon sps tank. question is will it b better to run 2 xr30s or 4 xr15s?

I have 3 XR30 gen 5 blue's on mine. The XR15 you will have twice the cords and power supply's

hows urs doing?? do u like the blue? what lights were u running before? if its g4, is it worth the upgrade?

I was running the Gen 4 pro's with giesemann T5 hybrid. The Blues seem less blue to me but they have better spreed and are less blinding. I also am not a fan of the Mobius app. I have the Apogee Q510 par meter and with the AB+ at 70% intensity tank is 24 inches deep I'm getting 475 on the bottom and 500 10 inches from the bottom, without the T5's.

that seems like abit overkill? i guess the lights r too good? haha. what size is ur tank? do u still get any shadows? or the spread fills everything nicely? and whats the issue with the app?

do you think it would be possible to run sps on 2 XR30s? or run 3 XR15?

According to Ecotech, 2 XR15s would be perfect for a 4x2 or 3 if you have heavy sps. You can watch this video for more info as this is where I got my statement. Start at around the 20:45 mark

I would start with two XR30's or four XR15 for Sps.

ok guys ... they only have 1 x xr30 blue left in my lfs and they do not know when the next stock will arrive. question is should i purchase 1 xr30 + 1 xr15 and c if its enough coverage, if not, i can add another xr15. or should i just got 3x xr15s with option to add an extra? or mebbe its best to wait til the xr30 arrives and get 2, which will probably take a couple of mths in my country.
