I have a new 36x20x21 tank. Will be using 2 xr15 pro's. If I place them each 9 inches from the side and centered for the width they will be each be covering an area 18x20x21. Should I use the standard 80 or 120 degree lens for this setup. I will mainly be adding LPS once the tank is cycled and possible SPS down the road.

I appreciate the help!

120 since according to the instructions it is the minimum height from the water line. Overlap is fine. 80 anything above 10 inches. Just one suggestion...

yes the height will be set at the minimum of 9 inches... forgot to include that info

Thanks rareearthcorals,

I almost pulled the trigger on these. If you havent purchased these yet Marine Depot has them on sale at the moment. If you have purchased them in the last 30days most places refund you the difference.

The only thing that stops me from these is aesthetics. I want to keep the stock hood. It is however one of the best lights out there. Dont forget to show your set up under member tanks. All the best.
