Introducing a modern looking mount made for the Ecotech Marine Radion XR30 G5 & G4. This mount features a minimalistic design, giving it a clean and sleek look; leaving plenty of space for cooling. This is a prototype that is currently in testing, results will be posted soon as the final part and changes if any are complete

Q: Where does this mount on the XR30? Right now we have the double wishbone mount that attaches in the 4 corners and leaves an air gap for the fan. Or do you attach 2 of these on each light?

yes, one on each side, and just slide into place easily. more pictures comin soon to show how it looks

This is how it looks on the Xr30, This is the prototype of the mounts, made a slight modification, and now it is ready for final testing.

If I want to mount my XR30 horizontally on an RMS mount, this probably won't work - right? I could see it working on an RMS rail of some length.

Yes, this is to mount it length wise. if you have a 30 deep and want to mount it width wise, it wont work. I'am currently working on getting a set for mounting that way as well..

we discontinued this design because ecotech already provides the mounts for the RMS rail.

We are using different rail systems than the RMS now, 8020 rail systems have been taking off in the hobby due to the customization that can be done with this rail..
