Hi all, is the Y hose connector from Harbor Freight safe to use for the RoDi system? Thanks

If you're asking if it's safe to use for your supply water to the RODI, then yes. But it would not use it for your product water (post RODI).

As opposed to other brands? Or in general are you asking if using a Y adapter is ok? Either way I don't see why there would be an issue.

The reason here is that i saw someone got issues with copper fitting for their RODi somehow. Brass would be more safe, i guess. But i found this at Harbor Freight. I want to be sure this Brass coated aluminum Connector also OK... if not safe, which brand to buy?

You might consider something like this..for more of a permanent install.

Since your incoming water lines are probably copper with a sprinkling of brass valve, it shouldn't really matter whether you use a brass or copper valve for the water supply side.

It will probably be fine, but there are non-copper Y valves. I used a zinc one for my setup.
