I honestly have looked at PEA about 20 times in the last week, for some reason I kept putting off purchasing a clam there, now I know why! This one was coming and I just didn't know it yet. PEA had an orange one last week but it sold already, I almost got it.

Man I just noticed this thread and was excited to see it while reading through all the posts and then get to this one....:sad:

Do you think they sent you the wrong clam or is it just the color?

It is totally the wrong clam.

I had to go back to work so I turned the lights off and now I am back home so I'll get a pic of it when it opens up fully.

How is it different? Post a picture. I know lately live aquaria's pictures have been looking a bit (understatement) doctored.

I could see the confusion. They're almost identical :squigglemouth:. Sure hope they right the wrong. Or they have a H#LL of a bunch of explaining if they say that's the same clam.

Yeah I am totally amazed in the difference.

You can see in the clams mantle that I got today there is a spot on the right side second fold up where the mantle was damaged sometime in the past. The clam that I purchased doesn't have that damaged spot so no they are not the same clam for sure.

Also this is the one that sold yesterday, it isn't the clam that I got ether.
