Yard soil in reef tank

I noticed that the grass photosynthesize quicker when the sun is shining on them through the window. The codium algae produced so many bubbles that it floated to the top of the tank!

Im going to preface by saying I have zero experience with plants, but since that tank is so small and no animals, is there a risk of CO2 depletion ruining your soil experiment and then the soil wrongly getting blamed?

I hadn't thought of that before! I think it'll be fine, because my freshwater soiled tank is literally filled with fast-growing plants and they are doing great.

That stuff is never going to grow with that light. You need at minimum a Radion x30 or just pack it in:p
