I got a Yasha goby on Saturday and it has been 4 days now. I have tried all sorts of foods to get him to eat (all frozen). I'm whipping up some baby brine shrimp for him and will try that today. I ordered a pistol shrimp for him but it won't be here for a week. Any tips on feeding? What foods work best?

Baby brine is a good choice. Calanus is something else that can appeal to small fish.
Okay! He's a small guy and I'm hoping the big meaty foods just weren't appealing to him. He does seem pretty stressed out and I hope that won't cause him to not eat.

Try calanus and pellets - I had success with the very small NLS Thera + pellets

They're also not the most ravenous of eaters - watchman gobies in general.

My YWGs will go several days before they finally get hungry and pursue food

Oh wow! What do you feed yours?

He liked PE Mysis the most. I don’t have him anymore though. All the other fish gobbled up all the food before any sunk to the bottom to get to him. He needed to be in a tank with less aggressive eaters.

I would just be patient. I wouldn’t worry until it’s been a few weeks.

I have to target feed mine. After pairing with the pistol shrimp, she was out much more often and I could use my feeder pipette to drop some small NLS thera+ pellets in front of her mouth, and she would sometimes eat them. Not a strong eater, so I have to target feed every day. Mysis isn't too bad either, again dropped right in front of her mouth. Baby brine shrimp seem to wet her appetite, but I don't see her going for them like the other fish do.
