Goby had been missing for about a week-week 1/2. I checked my sump (AIO so rear chamber) periodically but couldn't find him and assumed him and the pistol were digging deep.
I just happened to be by my tank checking the main hole to see if I could catch a glimpse and heard splashing. Lo and behold, there he was in the back trying to jump back into the tank. I scooped him out easily enough and got him into the display. However, at the moment he is hanging out near the skimmer overflow at the top of the tank.
I got some netting across the overflow but may need a smaller gauge. He looks to be nabbing at particles being sucked into the skimmer.
Thoughts on this behavior? He seems to be okay, swimming along the top, top fin extended, but he isn't going back to his hole/looking for cover.
