lol last time I got a trio and it worked well. That was on my old system. This system I started with some more rock and got reinfected...

If they dont work , try a aptasia eating file fish, but be for warned they pick at acans and zoas

I used nudi branchs put in 10 into my tank and about 5 weeks later I had no aptasia and just recently sold 20 so they reproduced in my tank cant beat that

Hope you have better luck then I just did. I noticed one Aptasia on a frag I got. I put three Peppermint Shrimp in. Now I have three aptasia and only ever see one shrimp. Maybe times are changing and Aptasia are getting payback on shrimp.

Yep my old File Fish killed over a hundred plus Aipts in my tank, tried feeding him frozen food and others but decided to go after all my prized Z's and P's first... before trying to go after LPS. He literally ate them like popcorns.

yea that's crazy I don't have many fish right now so that might have been all the edge I needed for these nudi's to go to town on these darn pests

Berghia when I used to propagate them would do serious damage to Aipts, but if you have fish or ornamental shrimp that would have them as a expensive meal then they wouldn't be of use. They also do a lot of their hunting at night time, Berghia.

I had great success with the peppermint shrimp. When I moved the rock sat in a bucket for a few weeks then sat in the tank another few weeks with no lights/filter. When I finally got around to gettin things together there were more aiptasia than I could count. They were small and I first went at them with aiptasia-x. I used the whole bottle and there were still more than I get get at. I added 2 peppermint shrimp in a 75g tank with about 100lbs of live rock. The aiptasia's were quickly gone. Only 1 peppermint shrimp remains, but it must be at least 2" long now. It does a great job, and comes to the top of the tank to eat frozen brine shrimp.

so a weekend later and 90% of the aptasia are gone!!!! wow that was fast.

Apt file did great for me I pulled him out as the aptasia dwindled I like them because they are easy to remove once their job is done
