Got some corals taht are fairly new to me yesterday. Am pretty excited about trying out some species I haven't had before. Would love to hear about placement and conditions for both A. spathulata and A. loripes. I got a large frag of the Spathulata and a medium small Loripes. Hoping both color up nice. The loripes should get nice purple tips and idk about the Spathulata. Pics to come.

What type of lighting do you have and what lighting were they under? May need to start them low.

Any pics? :D

Here are some pics. They are under LEDs and that is also what they were under in the tank I got them from. There is also a pink lemonade I picked up in the front right. Big one on the right is the A. spathulata (huge milli looking thing). The left smooth skin is A. loripes.

I would put the faster growers down low and the slow growers up high. The loripes would be a slower grower than the milli. The pink lemonade is a fast grower.

Sweet mille!! My pink lemonade looked similar to that for awhile when i switched to LED. Its about mid way up in my tank and doing really well now FWIW.

I wonder how such a thick branched milli will grow. Anyone have pics of A. spathulata colonies?

Thanks for the inputs yall I appreciate it. impur, what does your lemonade look like now under leds?

thanks for the input. I would have guessed it to be a slow grower with the thick branches and everything, but its also a lot like a milli which grow fast for the most part for me.
