Yellow Algae??

I'm in the second week of cycling and just noticed yellow algae on the sand bed and tank. Is this algae, normal during cycling, and is it harmful to the one green Chromis?

Likely diatoms especially if newer tank

As you can see its in the sand bed and

looks like yellow speckles

looks normal to me, most likely diatoms in new tank will go away with time
