Hello everyone!
I work at an LFS and got a call earlier this morning from my boss saying a customers 125 blew a seam and he needed all hands on deck to get his fish and rock into our systems. While doing so I came across a bucket on inverts and saw one of these shrimps for the first time. Franky I was quite smitten by it as well as a halloween hermit crab. The customer said we could sell off the live stock as he doesn't have time to set up a new tank. I took the halloween hermit home today to live in my frag QT tank where he will reside until I upgrade my tank whenever that may be.
My current tank (DT) is a Fluval evo 13.5 gallon and although I do plan on upgrading it probably won't be for a while. My current livestock includes 1x dwarf blue leg, 1x scarlet, 1x pom pom crab and 1x small Fire shrimp. The tank is pretty packed with corals but when I scaped the tank I made sure to have lots of ledges and caves since I like the more cryptic critters. I wanted to get some opinions on wether adding another shrimp would be alright for both compatibility and stocking for my tanks size. I've only been doing salt for about a year and half now and I still don't really have a feel for stocking tanks like I do in freshwater so I figured I'd ask! Here is a photo of the tank if it helps any.
Thanks in advance!
