Yellow belly blue tang

Just added a small yellow belly blue tang and has swimming around like crazy. Back and forth, up and down. Is the normal tang behavior?

He's eating like a pig also

yep,probably normal in my experience.just stressed not knowing his new environment and wondering if jaws is about to appear from behind a rock and eat him.he should calm down more and more each day.he's eating so that's one less thing to worry about.

What size is your tank? If cramped they can definitely act that way.

What size is your tank? If cramped they can definitely act that way.

100G 4ft. Yeah not recommended size for a blue tang I know but he's tiny so he has heaps of swimming space
