Got a yellow clown goby only to find out it has been a poblem for some reefers. I have a $80 frag of my favorite acans and it keeps laying on it. The coral doesnt seem happy the past 3 days. Can the acan die? SHould I try to catch the him and put him in quarantine?

They lay on everything. They are totally reef safe and harmless and so tiny , I don't think the Acan realizes its' there . . . . LOL

I would get him out; he is messing with the Acan heads. I bet if you remove him for 4-5 days your Acan will start to return to opening up more regularly.

My yellow clown goby perches all over the tank. I haven't seen a coral that it bothers yet. I'm only LPS

I have two yellow clown gobies. One has claimed my red monti cap. At first the polyps won’t open with him on there, but a week later when he is on it, the polyps are fully extended.

I am sure you have already tested your water parameters, but is there anyway they are to blame and it is just a coincidence that it started when you introduced the clown goby?
