Hello everyone,

I am currently using a fluval sea evo 13.5g with stock everything but added a jebaeo sw-2 wave maker which I have set on pulse and on its lowest setting. I have 2 common clownfish and one yellow clown goby. I added him a week ago and I haven't seen him eat yet and he just sits in the bottom left corner of my tank and barely moves. some mornings I have found him hiding in the sump and he is so small he gets through the overflow teeth. if I turn the wave maker off he will occasionally come out and swim for a but and go back down to the bottom left but with the wavemaker on he wont move. should I be using a wavemaker on this tank? my params are all fine and the clowns don't cause him much bother they occasionally check him out but that's it.

They are not that great of a swimmer and only eat very tiny food. I feed mine real small pieces of clams and they spawn almost every week. I can't tell from here what is wrong with yours but they live on Acropora and spawn all over it.

Just an update I tried feeding flakes instead of pellets, and crumbled them up, he had a couple of tiny bites today and yesterday but he has a bit of a sunken belly could this just be him looking skinny due to not eating? I can't get a good pic

They generally don't eat flakes or pellets. Tiny pieces of clam or frozen food is what he needs, unless you want to hatch brine shrimp.
