Yellow Coris Wrasse MIA

So I got my YCW on the 2nd and 3 days later still no visual. I saw him go into the sand bed when I first put him in and I have a hood so no jumping when I wasn't watching.

He hasn't come out for food from what I have seen.

How long should I wait ot out before I go looking for him?

Anyone with a similar experience?

Very typical of them
They generally always come out for food. 3 days of hiding is not unusual

It’ll come out of the sand when it’s ready. It could take a few days or a few weeks just depends on the wrasse. Don’t dig around the sand looking for it you’ll just stress it out and cause it stay buried longer.
