What’s going on everybody. So this is my Coris wrasse who went through my observational quarantine that I do for weeks, and has been in my tank my display tank now for close to a month. She is very very active, eats great, no irregular swimming just enjoying herself. But I see her belly is a little bloated looking does this look like swim bladder to you? She is actually growing really fast too!
Let me know what you guys think

Usually swim bladder problems cause a fish to be too buoyant. Maybe your wrasse is constipated? You can try feeding her brine shrimp to see if that helps reduce her bloating in case it’s digestion related.

What I watch for is a fish that bobs if it stops swimming, or sculls along head down to maintain position.

This fish just looks fat/bloated. As @SaltyT said, try adult frozen brine, it sort of works like a laxative.

Thank you! Yea she’s not showing any signs of swim bladder from what I’m reading, I feed brine shrimp everyday hopefully that will help! Thanks for the reply

I see, yea thankfully my wrasse isn’t showing any of those signs then that may indicate swim bladder. Maybe it is just fat and bloated. I’ll feed brine and see if that does the trick, otherwise only time will tell!
Thanks Jay for the reply!
