So just found Monti eating nudi's. Only found a few small adults so hoping, but doubtful, I caught this early. I am in the process of adding fish to the tank and am seriously considering getting a yellow coris wrasse. I know there is a slight snail/shrimp issue. How is its temperment with smaller fish. I have a reefer xxl 750 so plenty of room. Here is the stocking list.

Kole Tang
Skunk Clown
Yellow Assesor
4 Margarita Cardinals
Flasher wrasse
Possum Wrasse
Hi-Fin Perchlet
Green Chromis
Lyertail Anthias
Kamohara Blenny

Would the fish be okay with this stocking list?

They are generally only aggressive to other yellow coris wrasses from what I've heard, but I would keep an eye on it and the possum wrasse together. They will help with the nudi's but don't expect it completely eradicate them.

I can’t tell you about the yellow virus, but I used a Melanuras wrasse to completely eliminate monti nudibranches. They are very active wrasses but get along with everyone. They do eat CUC snails but well worth it. Saved my monti’s

Dis they take down every snail or just randomly if they qere on their side.

Hopefully it will do the trick but it has to go through QT first so atleast 45 days out from getting it in the display. Good news is I do not have to many monti's and have them all in a pile in the sand bed and only 1 cap was infected. Gonna dip and clean every 3 days and hopefully with the the
Edition of the fish that will be the end of it.

We had a melanarus and had to go to thr
Turbo size margarita snails. All the smaller he thought were appetizers

It's compatible with the wrasses you have, but don't expect it to solve your nudi issue. It may help manage the problem, but will not solely eliminate it.

Hopefully with the dipping also it should be enough to get ride of these things. Absolute worst case will take all the monti's out and out them in QT tank. Just dont want to spend money for lights, etc.
