first time i took him out by hand pain in the butt didnt want him to get stuck in the wet dry..
second time i use my hand to make him jump out while the water level in the overflow is high up.
third time i use a flash light and hand to make him jump out and he jumps right back in twice

he isnt going through the slits he is jumping over into the overflow i dont see any other fish bugging him. after the third time of jumping back in he dipped into a little sand bed at the bottom over the overflow lol

should i let him be ?

I would make a screen top for just the overflow to keep the little bugger out. If he ends up in the wet/dry he would probably die before you found him...

Is there a Moorish Idol in the tank named Gil? If so, I’d say he is guilty of reckless influence.

Don’t let your fish watch “Finding Nemo”. It just gives them all kinds of bad ideas.
