I have a 29 gallon with a yellow watchman goby two clowns and a yellowtail damsel will a yellow dottyback kill them?

I highly doubt it. I'd be more worried about the dottyback myself.
I've had several and they've all been pretty shy. They'll develop a territory-dig a hole or whatever and defend it wholeheartedly but none that I have had have ever attacked anything maliciously.
I have a sunrise dottyback I've had for about 5 years. Sometimes I don't see him for weeks then one day he comes out, eats and eats and eats then goes back to his den.
That doesn't mean others haven't had mean ones, just my experience.
Hope that helps.

Good to know but I'd rather have a shy fish than one that will kill everything.
