Saw this at the LFS about 3 week's ago and even though I was told it was only eating live, I just had to get it.

After feeding it some ghost shrimp and watching how it reacted to the shrimp vs pieces of fish, I decided to try fresh frozen krill. It went nuts on the krill, at that point I knew I was on the right path. After a few days I tried some clam which it hit but spit out, not a huge surprise since its not a natural food. Yesterday I tried frozen fish and it loved it. So Im now I'm the clear for feeding.

This little dude acts like a puppy following me around the tank, which isn't fun when my hands are in there lol

Are they as rare as I've read, moat threads are from 08ish.

Very nice! Did they charge a premium for it? Had one myself about 10 yrs ago that I found in a mixed batch of fuzzies and gave just like $35 for it. It unfortunately surfed the carpet, which I was not aware of as a risk. Be careful of that.

I spent about what you did actually.

I have glass tops due to an eel I use to have, but I could see him surfing, he is wick to jump to the top If I have food

I love my lion. I've had some dwarfs in the past but none like that guy! I'm picking one up from the lfs that is under an inch. I've never seen one that small
