Yellow Fiji Leather Coral

I saw a huge Yellow Fiji Leather at the local aquarium a couple months ago. It brought me back to my fish tank i kept 15 years ago! Truly a beautiful Piece

They are much trickier to get ahold of these days and i have had a hard time finding one. Does anyone have one available or know where i can get one? Gotta have one for the nostalgia of it! Let me know if you know where i can snag one!

I've not looked around lately but the last one I saw was from LA/DD. I went back and it was sold pretty quick. So it is one of those that you have to catch regardless of seller.

My understanding is the area they are from is shut down, so getting a wild one is practically impossible. Cultured ones show up.

Divers den gets them somewhat frequently. I bought one off there few months ago.

@Kyler Although I'm not into soft corals, I couldn't help but admire the few leathers I unpacked for pieces of the ocean last weekend. Think this was the first time I ever seen a yellow leather, pretty cool this thread popped up because i had just took some photos for someone the other day.

Yes they do, I've been friends with the owners for a very long time now, they had just opened a few months ago so I started giving them a hand on weekends. I will be there tomorrow and Sunday

Did you happen to find one? I received an email notification from LA/DD over the weekend that they had them in stock. If you haven't may want to check it out. If it is sold then sign up for the notification alert. I've received two now in the past month showing availability each time. So plenty of time to buy based on when I received it.
