Yellow goby and spotted sand sifting goby?

Hi everyone,

I have a question but first you'll want to know my tank situation before.

I have a 30G reef tank with four fish. Been set up for about six months now.

A pair (one small and one medium/largeish) of oc clown hosting their own anemone next to each other for the past two months.

A small six line wrasse that loves swimming around.

And lastly a spotted sand sifting goby.

6small hermit crabs and one small emerald crab.

28lbs of live rock.

2 inch sand bed.

3 medium pouches of porous rock for organic and bio filtration.

A Prizm skimmer rated for 40gallons.

The question is, I have a fellow reefer who is parting with a trigger shrimp and yellow goby combo. I reeeeeeeealy want them and was wondering if the two gobies would fight each other?

I have created lots of "diggable" areas away from where the current spotted goby has settled from.

If anyone has tried to raise both please let me know how it went for you. If they are absolutely not compatible I have a ten gallon tank I can put them in by themselves.

trigger shrimp as in pistol shrimp?? if so i have mine paired with my watchman goby and honestly i hate him! he makes my tank to blurry and sometimes grabs my frags and puts them under the rock loll.. i got a zoa head and put it on my sand bed for like 10 mins to just set up my tank and stuff and it was gone loll.. kinda funny but so annoying. So do i recommend it? Nah, but if u don't mind cloudy water lol than go ahead... id sell mine but hard to catch that sucker!

I don't think I have enough sand to make it too blurry, and I have all my corals off the ground. More worried about the two gobies fighting. Haha I'll keep your input in mind though as I aqua scape some more.

Sand sifters are a PITA but they are cool and they work.. My tank gets cloudy from time to time but, I can really tell the areas in the sand bed that he misses...
Cool fish but a real PITA...

I love my diamond spotted sand sifting gobies. Yes, they can make a bit of a mess at times but my sand is always clean. Very fun to watch as they move hermit crabs out of their way. Introducing "The Twins".
